My name is Anthony J. Meno and I am a recent graduate of Old Dominion University with a Bachelor's Degree of Science in Mechanical Engineering Technology. I am passionate about knowledge and using that knowledge to improve circumstances for myself and those around me.
Where am I from?
I am from the Hampton Roads area of the state of Virginia in the United States of America. I originally found interest in the sciences in my 4th grade class from a teacher who believed heavily in the Sciences, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. In high school I joined the robotics team and quickly became addicted to the rush of knowledge, design, discussion, and application that was engineering. I chose Mechanical Engineering Technology because I believed that it was a world where I could explore and experience what I had already seen, however this time with a lens of clarity and the ability to understand the world around me.
What do I want to do?
I would like to improve the world by doing what I can and using what I have/will learn to contribute to the industry. I would like to get into manufacturing engineering because if anything is worth doing, it is worth doing a million times perfectly. Watching the products that are made for society in this day and age fascinates me, but what really has me thinking is how can they be made so perfectly, so many times, and still continue to evolve. That is what I would like to do with my engineering and how I want to make the world a better place.
